Bear Valley Ski Area
The Bear valley ski area is located on mount Reba. Average snowfall per year is 359 inches, which is augmented with 100 acres of snow making capacity when needed. There are 67 trails spread over 1280 skiable acres. There is ample terrain available for all ski levels: 25% beginner, 40% intermediate, 25% advanced and 10% expert. The village is about three miles from the ski area. There is a shuttle that runs from the Bear valley village to Mt. Reba daily during the skiing season. There are several food stations along the mountain. Photographers are also located throughout the skiing area to take photographs of you skiing.

The Bear valley ski season starts in mid November and continues until mid April. In addition to skiing and snow boarding, the Bear valley resort offers other winter recreational activities such as cross country and back-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and sledding. The Bear valley ski resort has three terrain parks for snowboarding: Super Cub park, Shady grove park and Nastar special event course. The Super cub park features flat bars and rainbow rails. The Nastar special event course has flat boxes, a flat down rail and butter box. The resort likes to maintain a family friendly atmosphere. The Bear ski school is available to instruct children ages 4-8. Group lessons are available for ages 9-12. Childcare and activities are also available for children 2 years and older.
